Equipped with modern furnitures, anti-fire systems, alarm, ITED network and LCD TVs, within a relaxing environment, to enjoy both pleasant moments of conviviality and maximum tranquility, relaxation and privacy.

About Us

The Residence ‘Bem Estar Dona Adelina’ was created within a family commitment in order to perpetuate the memory of Adelina da Pedra Pacheco (1928-2007), "Mother of the Family”, who resided there after acquiring the house in the aftermath of storms that occurred on the Island of S. Miguel in the 90s of the Twentieth Century.
Adelina da Pedra Pacheco was born in Ponta Garça, São Miguel – Azores. She guided her life by the noblest values of society, family, relationship, humility, perseverance and honesty. Endowed with a very strong personality, of an unique nature, capacity analysis and insight , she was a very special woman.
With a unique capacity to adapt to new situations, she always showed an extreme openness to our constantly changing societies. With determination and commitment, she devoted herself to noble causes always sharing experiences and thereby contributing to a better, supportive and participative society.
After her demise, the family decided to undertake expansion and remodeling of the house she owned and lived until then, making possible the opening of a Residence accommodation on 28 May 2012, with the unveiling of a bust in her honor, in order to perpetuate her name and image.
The bronze sculpture was made by the artist Jean Pierre Nduwa, Chief of the Sculpture department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
It is a place with familiar feeling, designed for fellowship and the sharing of space and cultural enrichment. Ensuring comfort and well being that we aim to provide our clients,

About Us

The 'Bem Estar Dona Adelina' Residence was born from a family commitment to perpetuate in the parish of Ponta Garça the memory of Adelina da Pedra Pacheco (1928-2007), “Mother of the Family”, who lived there after purchasing the house in following the inclement weather on S. Miguel Island in the 1990s.
Adelina da Pedra Pacheco was born in Ponta Garça Parish, S. Miguel Island - Azores. She guided her life with the defense of the noblest values of society, family, human relations, humility, perseverance and honesty. Endowed with a very strong personality, an unusual character, capacity for analysis and insight was a woman with a believing, familiar and devoted spirit.
Possessing a great capacity for management and adaptation to new situations, she showed an extreme openness to the evolution of societies and the world.
She accepted and faced all the natural challenges that life proposed to her to live. With determination and commitment, she dedicated herself to the noble causes and customs of a community, sharing experiences and thus contributing to a more humane, supportive and participatory society.
After her death, the family decided to proceed with the expansion and remodeling of the house she owned and lived until then, making it possible to open a Local Housing Residence, which happened on May 28, 2012, with the unveiling of a bust in her honor so as to perpetuate her name and image.
The bronze sculpture was made by artist Jean Pierre Nduwa, Head of the Metal Department of the Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
It is a place with family feeling, aimed at communion and sharing space and cultural enrichment. The guarantee of comfort and well-being that we aim to provide to our users is the success of our employees.
Betting on human relationships, offering a welcoming environment worthy of the memory of Adelina da Pedra Pacheco, we contribute to the improvement of the quality of life existing in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
